I am saddened to inform you that Muriel passed away a few days ago. Muriel was a life member of Sawtry & District Bowling Club, as well as a past Ladies County President of Huntingdonshire Bowling Association. Muriel together with husband Neville (who passed away several years back), and son Julian were staunch supporters of the club, and donated the Sykes Vase Trophy for the 2 x mixed 4s competition that we host each year with other clubs in the area.
Our thoughts and sympathies go to Julian and other members of Muriel’s family at this sad time.
